What was supposed to be an exhibition bout. between Prince Larbie and Ransford Laryea ended in many more young boxers climbing into the ring to challenge them.
But Larbie, aka ‘Prince The Buzz’, was the target and focus of the boxers.
Prince Larbie, 12, has been able to draw the awareness and attraction with the support of his dad, Daniel Larbie, Nii Otokunor, who isa coach at the Will Power Boxing Gym and a traditional leader.
Currently, there are over 400 juvenile boxers across the major regions; however, Accra will dominate with the love and provision of modern scientific equipment.
Prince ‘The Buzz’ has advertised for some equipment brands, and the opportunity is still open.
On the final day of the National Amateur Boxing Championship, the ring announcer gave the kids the opportunity to yab, yob, and jab in the ring, and it was very interesting how they rattled the English language.
Their workout proves that the coaches are working and the future is bright.
Not to forget their teachers at school. Prince attends Prince De Henry Educational Complex, where he is doing well academically.
