The Global Warriors Champions are coming up with an exciting international Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bill involving Ghana versus Nigeria and other supporting bouts at the Bukom Boxing Arena on May 3, 2025
According to the President of Ghana Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Jeff Taylor, it is an opportunity for those who do not know much about the sport to come and watch a mixture of combat sports, including boxing, wrestling, karate, taekwondo, and judo.
He said MMA is now the fastest-growing sport all over the world, creating employment and keeping the youth busy and having something to do. They are occupied in the gym most of the time, and that takes them away from drugs and social vices.
He expressed that MMA is not as dangerous as people perceive because every activity can be dangerous.
He urged combat sports fans to be at the Bukom Boxing Arena on May 3 to cheer on Ghana’s Jonathan Lamptey as he takes on Victor Dooga of Nigeria in the fight of the night.
Kwab Asamoah, a sports fashion designer and member of Ghana Judo, has joined the MMA fraternity and invites all sports fans to come and watch the sport that is attracting fans globally.
