The pride of PKO, Prince Kamaldeen Mohammed, aka ‘The Northern Assassin’, will fight for the World Boxing League (WBL) Africa Continental light heavyweight title on Saturday against Kokou Vinyo De Souza of Togo, as the main international headliner of the PKO Homowo Fight Fest 2026 at Abelemkpe.
He said in an exclusive chat that he can not let the opportunity slip because this is the way to start in a small way and continue gradually to the bigger titles.
In the mouth-watering package of boxing, PKO Boxing has put up a lucrative pairing featuring not only able-bodied boxers but (adaptive boxing) people with disability boxing in wheelchairs, as well as female boxing and juvenile boxing.
The epic show of the night should be the much-awaited showdown between television personalities, Fanny Face, the kids’ president, and Kumasi-based actor Kofi Manu in a crucial bout. Both have bragged in the media, and fans want to see the man among the two entertainers.
Hard puncher Kwame Darkwa is traveling all the way from the Netherlands to Ghana to face off against John Dugu; Jacob Dickson is on the bill; Cobbina Johnson goes toe-to-toe with Jacob Laryea.
PKO’s own Hamza Muhammad aka “Tank” (Hamza Wahab) steps into the ring to make his official pro boxing debut against Nana Benya Bee.
Nigeria will clash with Ghana on the bill, as another international showdown will feature Tunde Olojede going toe-to-toe with Ghana’s Razak Nettey, while Joseph Commodor aka The Humble takes on Emmanuel Allotey.
“The Ring Master” Ebenezer Kolebe steps into the ring to go head-to-head against Isaac Ayeetey.
Mohammed Rashad faces Emmanuel Abang in the special wheelchair fixture.
Rahman Lokko will display with Attor Prince in the special juvenile bout, as Theresa Asomaning clashes with Esther Adjei in a female boxing contest, among the many bouts on the night to remember.
