Hon. Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie. The Member of Parliament for the Odododiodoo Constituency has received and hailed the three amazing youth amateur boxers who represented Ghana and won Gold at the 2025 African Youth Boxing Championship in Conakry, Guinea.

Addressing them at his office in Parliament, he charged them to see this victory as a springboard to many assignments and opportunities coming up, such as the Youth Olympic Games and World Boxing events.

He cautioned Mathias Ashitey (Flyweight-51Kg), George Dowouna (Bantamweight-54Kg), and Desmond Pappoe (Middleweight-75Kg) to live exemplary lives as models and motivation to other youth in Ga Mashie.
