Senior boxer Patrick Allotey is fully backing the candidature of Ivan Bruce Cudjoe, aka IBC, for the President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
Patrick Allotey has been an inspiration to many young boxers at the Wisdom Boxing Gym.
He has a lot of influence among boxers as a leader and an experienced boxer.
He fought one of the toughest world champions after claiming the WBO Africa Championship.
Patrick Allotey is a Ghanaian professional boxer in the middleweight division, known by the nickname “Darling Boy Arrow”. As of May 2026, he holds a professional record of 45 wins and 11 losses, with 35 of those wins coming by knockout.
His most recent bouts include: March 28, 2026, when he lost to Francis Hogan, then in September 2025, he lost to Tommy Hyde, in August 2025, he fought Chordale Booker, and later Ukrainian contender Serhii Bohachuk in California
In his early success, he previously held the WBO Africa Super Welterweight title and challenged Jaime Munguia for the WBO World Super Welterweight title in 2019, which he lost by knockout.
Controversy: In 2020, Allotey was suspended for six months by the Ghana Boxing Authority after a viral video showed him assaulting a fan at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Distinction: He is sometimes confused with the younger, rising Ghanaian prospect Theo Allotey (also known as Theo Lopez), who recently won the WBA Africa Super Flyweight title in April.
Allotey urges delegates to think about the future and vote wisely for IBC in the upcoming Ghana Boxing Authority Elections fixed for June 4 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
