South African boxer Siyabulela Hem has chickened out of a rematch with Ghana’s John Zile after their interesting WBO Youth Super Bantamweight bout at the Border Conference Centre, Abbotsford in New England last Friday 11th April which he was declared winner.

According to Gordon Frimpong aka Osibor, manager of Zile, the South African said he is not ready for a rematch against a tough opponent.
“Hem described Zile as a bull dozer; he doesn’t want to fight him again,” said Osibor.
The title fight was scored 97-92, 96-93, and 96-93 in favor of Hem. But Zile immediately called for a rematch after the controversial decision.
However, according to Osibor, John Zile fought very well and sold Ghana Boxing as the brand of African Boxing.
John Zile trains at the Bronx Boxing Club at JamesTown in Accra. He was initially a footballer before turning to boxing, and he has fit in well.
