Former WBC Silver and WBO Africa Super Welterweight Champion, Patrick Allotey aka Arrow, was on The Big Fight Night, and he is backing Ivan Bruce Cudjoe to become the new President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
He feels Ghana Boxing currently needs a person like IBC to bring discipline and respect to the sport and business.
He noted that boxers need someone to speak for them, and he is ever ready to play that role.
Patrick Allotey, who does not regret being a boxer, warned that it is not for lazy people.
“Boxing is very hard, and so boxers must be paid well and be respected,” he expressed.
He, however, wants his son to become a boxer, and he believes he will become a champion as he is ready to guide him.
Allotey hailed all dedicated boxers of the Wisdom Boxing Gym, and urged them to stand solidly behind Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe to save Ghana Boxing, which is neither moving forward nor back, but running in circles.
He called for peace, unity, and love among the boxing community of Ghana.
