Isaac Tetteh predicts upsets and surprises at 2026 World Cup

Mr. Issac Tetteh, alias ‘TT Brothers’, has predicted surprises at the 2026 FIFA World Cup taking place in Mexico, USA, and Canada.

Speaking on. Metro TV Sports Show, the former Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, said the 2026 FIFA World Cup would be  very interesting, but full of surprises

He said the game of football has evolved, so it should never be a surprise for big nations to lose to small ones, for some star players to underperform, and for some unknown players to shine.

He expressed that small nations now have big stars who can match up to the occasion.

According to the keen football enthusiast, the game has changed and developed so much that innovations have been implemented, and there have been technological and scientific advancements to the game.

The bankroller of Pure Joy, a Division One side, said Ghana will be part of history, as the Black Stars are going to cause a big sensation.

Mr. Tetteh is happy that the number of participants has increased to 48, and Africa is presenting 10 teams.

He noted that anytime there is no hope for the Black Stars, they perform, and as they are placed among the lowly ranked sides, they will shock the experts.

“Ghana will surprise at this tournament, and people will be shocked,” he said.

The World Cup kicks off on June 11 in Mexico with South Africa facing the hosts.

Ghana will play on June 17 in Toronto, Canada, against Panama in its first game before handling England in Boston and Croatia in Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, the prize money for winners and participants has increased. The winner takes home $50m.
