In an exclusive interview with, Mr. Darkwah said he has also not stopped operating SP Sports as it is intact, and they have more events and programmes coming up.
He noted that boxers George Faho Mensah and the dreaded Charles Tetteh are still his boxers under the management of SP Sports.
“The decision marks a significant transition, and we acknowledge his leadership, dedication, and contributions during his tenure. We wish him success in his future endeavors,” said representatives of PKO.
Further updates regarding the next phase of leadership and operations will be communicated in due course.
Meanwhile, Mr. Samuel Darkwah revealed looking forward to another event at Koforidua in November to celebrate National Farmers’ Day, after the successful 1957 event.
He said it is good that boxing is spreading all over and that would create interest and produce more boxers in the other regions of Ghana.
