Ghana’s Ayishatu Zakaria Ali, a vibrant female sports journalist from Ghana, has been named among the 50 influential women in Africa in 2025.
The former sports reporter/ broadcaster at Homebase Sports, Happy FM, and ETV is now based in the USA, but contributes to Ghana’s national affairs. She is vibrant on her platforms on social media.
She is an advocate for female footballers and a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and the Association of International Sports Press (AIPS).
She expressed her gratitude to be part of the incredible women. She thanked the organisers and all who supported the programme. “It feels amazing to be among this year’s 50 Most Influential African Women In Sports honorees,” she said.
The 50 Most Influential Women in Africa is organised by Women Sport Africa Network and African Sports Ventures Group.
