Zimansky Hotel commits to Accra Inter-City Marathon

Accra, Oct. 02 – Zimansky Hotel, an Accra-based plush hotel, has become one of the new sponsors of the Accra Inter-City Marathon, scheduled for October 10, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The hotel, as part of its sponsorship package for the event, has been hosting all pre-event activities, as well as providing accommodation for some guests ahead of the race.

This is the second time the hotel is supporting the organization of the popular marathon, which attracts thousands of participants each year.

Mr. Stephen Oduro Kwarteng, General Manager of the hotel, announced their commitment to the race when he received a running vest from the organisers, a symbol of invitation to attend the race said the decision to support the event was part of their commitment to community, wellness, and Ghanaian hospitality.

“This partnership reflects our belief that true hospitality extends beyond our doors. It is about supporting initiatives that unite people, celebrate resilience, and promote healthy living.

“By aligning with one of Accra’s most vibrant sporting events, we not only showcase our dedication to guest experience and cultural engagement, but also reaffirm our role as a responsible corporate citizen.

“Through this sponsorship, Zimansky Hotel continues to champion excellence, community development, and the spirit of Accra,” he added.

Mr. Michael Atitsogbui – Operations Manager of Medivents Consult, organisers of the race, expressed appreciation to the hotel for their support.

He said Medivents Consult was committed to the details of the relationship, adding that they will ensure the company derives the necessary benefits from the partnership.

“We are proud to be associated with Zimansky Hotel, one of the best hotels in the capital. We are also committed to excellence and delivery of top-notch events”, he stated.

The Accra Inter-City Hotel is a 21-kilometer race under the auspices of soft drinks giant, Tampico.

It will also have a 5-kilometer category for other participants, with cash prizes, medals, certificates, and more.
