Spain’s Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Ángel Lossada Torres-Quevedo, has expressed solidarity with Ghana’s national amputee football team, the Black Challenge, ahead of the 2026 Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico.
During a visit to the team in Accra, the Ambassador encouraged the players and reaffirmed his support, stressing that the rights, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities matter beyond sporting achievements.
President of the Ghana Amputee Football Association, Foster Kwarteng, expressed gratitude for the Ambassador’s continued support for disability sports in Ghana.
Ghana, two-time African champions, will face Colombia, Angola and Iraq in Group D as they pursue world glory.
One team. One nation. One dream. Let’s rally behind the Black Challenge!
