Theo Allotey Presents New WBA Africa Title Belt To Hon. Kofi Adams

New WBA Africa Super Flyweight champion Theophilus Nii Kpakpo Allotey has presented his latest belt to the Minister of Sports and Recreation at his office.

The five belts championship belt holder was accompanied by his team, who assured the minister and people of Ghana that very soon they would win the main world title.

Theophilus Allotey (14-0-0) delivered his fifth title within 16 months after the African Games, where he represented Ghana. As a professional, he now has the WBA Africa Super Flyweight Championship title, WBO Global title, WBO Africa, as well as UBO Africa and Ghana national belts.

Coach Dr. Ofori Asare of Wisdom Boxing Gym prayed and promised that their dream will certainly come true because they are focused, determined, and ready to deliver.

The Minister, Hon. Kofi Iddi Adams, said it was a good moment to host Theophilus Allotey and his team following his strong victory at the Legacy Rise Promotion stage at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

“This is not by chance. From a national title to WBO Global, and now WBO Africa, this journey reflects discipline, consistency, and real growth. Ranked among the top contenders globally, the path ahead is clear: stay focused, keep working, and prepare for the next level,” he expressed.

“As we continue to reposition boxing in Ghana, stories like this remind us that the talent is here. What is required is structure, support, and the right environment to grow champions,” he stressed.

“I have made a personal contribution to support his training, and the Ministry will continue to engage on how best to support his progression. Stay disciplined, trust the process, and listen to your coaches. Ghana is behind you,” he promised and advised the young champion.
