“The Staff Health Walk reflects MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL’s) commitment to staff wellbeing – because when their people are well, the service to customers is stronger”.
Head of Human Resources, Dzifa Romano Mensah, said, “We organised the walk to recognise our people and reinforce that staff health and safety are non-negotiable. We prioritised a safe route and encouraged responsible pacing, hydration, and looking out for one another.
“If we say people are our greatest asset, we must invest in their well-being.”
She noted that wellness drives and supports performance, so a healthy, supported staff makes better decisions and delivers better customer service.
Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Management at MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL), Afua Serwaa Asafo-Adjei, said the walk is part of a broader staff wellness agenda focused on physical activity, mental wellbeing, and stress management. It enforces community, connection, and cultural identification
“Today we have a strengthened connection; people across units walked together, interacted, and built team spirit. It reinforces a culture where well-being is encouraged, and support for one another is normal. When we walk together, we work better together. We are making wellness part of everyday culture through ongoing activities, health education, and supportive workplace practices. We will keep listening to staff needs and promoting personal responsibility – movement, rest, and checking in on colleagues.
She expressed that the walk is not a one-day event; “it’s a long-term culture shift. Remember: investing in our health is investing in our future – individually and as a company”.
She thanked the media for covering the initiative, “We appreciate your support and will share updates as the staff wellness programme continues,” she added.
