
A highly powered delegation comprising the founder of the World HUSNA Federation, Mr. Mahadi Mohammed and his Secretary, Ing. Dr. Mansuur Husein, a traditional leader who doubles as the President of the West African Subregion HUSNA Federation, Chief Ibrahim (Kankapuuya Naa, Chief of Digari-1) and ASP Benjamin Amissah, the Deputy Director of Sports, representing the Director of Sports at the Ghana Police Service, ASP Madam Bernice Rashida Timbilla, met to discuss preparation for the HUSNA Inter-Police and the Northern Belt Youth Leagues themed “Operation Homeland security” at Tuba, HUSNA office on 30th September, 2026.
Furthermore, Mr. Abdul Majeed, Aide of Chief Ibrahim, and Mr. Daniel Addo were invited to join the marketing and sponsorship committee.
Chief Ibrahim urged other traditional Leaders to show their support for HUSNA Sports to help promote peace and unity in our communities.
Mr. Mahadi, who also doubles as the President of the Ghana Fencing Association, promised to reserve two slots for the youth in the Talensi Traditional Area to participate in the upcoming 2027 Fencing World Championship in Turkey.
As part of the preparatory activities, 10 youths from Bolgatanga will be selected and trained in preparation for participation in the Northern Belt League.
In addition, Chief Ibrahim donated a substantial amount of cash to support ongoing preparation for the League. He promised to do his best to see the event and the organization succeed in its aims and objectives
The event is scheduled to take place from 10th to 23rd October 2027 at Tuba, HUSNA office.
