Golden Arm Grace Mintah, now Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP)

Africa’s armwrestling star, Grace Mintah, winner of four gold medals at the recent 15th Africa Armwrestling Championships held in Ghana, has been promoted from Chief Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) by Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Christian Tetteh Yohunu.

ASP Grace Mintah was very much instrumental in Team Ghana’s success, as she met some of the toughest opponents on the continent from Egypt and Nigeria, but she defeated them.

She also inspired the junior pullers in the Ghana team to do their best.

Certainly, her promotion is going to inspire and motivate other security officers to do their best to win gold.

Already, the Director of Prisons, Mrs Pat Baffoe-Bonnie, has feted her athletes at an impressive ceremony.
