His selection underscores the nation’s commitment to equal opportunity, ensuring that athletes with disabilities continue to stand proudly at the forefront of Ghana’s international sporting journey.

As Tahiru Haruna carries the King’s Baton into the Opening Ceremony with the national flag held high, millions of Ghanaians will witness a defining moment that celebrates diversity, inspires the next generation and demonstrates that Ghana’s sporting future belongs to every citizen willing to dream, work hard and serve the nation.
