Didi Shito consumers mount pressure on Gas Man

Emmanuel Olla Williams, aka ‘The Gas Man’, founder and CEO of One on One Foundation and the Secondary School Sanitation program, has come under pressure to organise more Longest Table events with the latest product on the market, which can be eaten with different kinds of food.

Didi Shito can be consumed with gari, rice, waakye, and others, but it is freaky if it is at a party or if there are many consumers.

Didi Shito” with “The Gas Man” refers to an event hosted by Olla Williams, which is going viral among tertiary institutions, Senior High Schools, ls and the communities.

The programme features the “Longest Table” gathering at Senior High Schools to celebrate SRC weeks and other events.

This event promotes the Didi Shito, a popular Ghanaian black pepper sauce made from dried fish, crustaceans, and spices.

It is an occasion for unity, love, and peace, but above all, for creating business opportunities.

Shito is a staple, hot condiment in Ghana, often served with kenkey, rice, or banku, but eating together is what makes the difference and makes the Gas Man stand out.

According to Emmanuel Olla Williams, an events organiser with Dreamland Sports, he got the name Gas Man from the students he has been working with over the years, and it simply means Ghana Ambassador of Sports.

He doubles as President of the Ghana Tug of War Association as well as the Pillow Fighting Championships in Ghana.

He is hoping to bring more programmes to solve the boredom of the youth and make elderly people happy through sports and recreation.

The former youth coordinator of the Ghana Olympic Committee said Ghanaians must keep on being creative and use made-in-Ghana products.
