The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced that most areas in the Greater Accra and Tema Regions will experience a temporary power outage on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
Due to planned maintenance works. The outage forms part of an ongoing strategy to enhance the reliability of the power supply in the country.
The ECG outlined that the maintenance exercise will occur between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, affecting most of the communities in the Greater Accra region.
“We regret the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise,” said the ECG. Also, the ECG assured the public to restore the power would be restored after the maintenance exercise
