
Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy (CP) Football Club Gets Set To Face Togolese Counterparts
The Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy (CP) Football Club will play their Togolese counterparts in a specially organised international friendly to promote fitness among the disabled and project CP Football in the West African sub-region.
The team has begun training at the Kotobabi Wembley Astro Turf with all players very ready to roll.
Mr. Emmanuel Akpabli, President of the Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy team who happens to be Welfare Officer of the progressive Black Challenge, Ghana’s Amputee Football team and a pioneer of sports for physically challenged people said interactions between Ghana and Togo has been fruitful and they hope to deliver an exciting game on May 31 at the Olympic Stadium in Lome.
Akpabli hinted that the Ayawaso CP Club will move further to play against a club in Nigeria next year, date yet to be confirmed.
He commended his able executives who have been supporting the players, like Technical Director Ali Jara, Prince Boaten, and others.
The icon for the promotion of Cerebral Palsy (CP) football was optimistic that the Ayawaso CP Club would shine by displaying their brand of ‘Agoro Football’ tactics and strategies.
He welcomed every contribution and support that would develop the club.
