
Omashi Sports Heralds Inclusive Marathon Spirit, with the countdown at three days, Omashi Media has officially endorsed the 2026 Tampico Accra Inter-City Marathon, amplifying its voice for community health, inclusivity, and sports tourism.
On Omashi Sports, the charismatic broadcaster Mr. Daniel Dravie (DKD) hosted Mr. Senyo, General Manager of Medivents Consult, in a riveting promotional interview. Their exchange spotlighted the marathon’s vision as a unifying race for athletes, families, para-athletes, and even skating enthusiasts, all converging to celebrate fitness, friendship, and cultural pride.
The race unfolds on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 5:30 a.m. at the Bukom Boxing Arena (Trust Sports Emporium), which also serves as the finish line.
DKD and Mr. Senyo Highlights Inclusive Race Design, stating Categories as a 5km run for families and friends, and a 21km challenge for elite athletes, para-athletes, and skaters.
Mr. Senyo emphasized the marathon as a platform to promote wellness, build friendships, and foster partnerships.
With international participants, the event doubles as a showcase of Accra’s vibrant sports culture, which serves as Tourism.
Medivents Consult, with headline sponsor Tampico, has set GHS 18,000 each for male and female winners, plus the honor of representing Ghana at an international marathon in Morocco. Last year’s victor proudly competed in South Africa.
Final Preparations: Participants were seen collecting their official Capelli-branded vests at the Bukom Boxing Arena, heightening anticipation for race day. Mr. Napoleon Gagba, General Manager of Omashi Media, pledged to personally run the full distance while engaging the public.
He assured that Omashi TV will broadcast the marathon live on television and social media, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
