Coach Dr. Ofori Asare, head trainer of world super flyweight contender, Theophilus Allotey has thanked all Ghanaians and Africans who supported Team Allotey last Saturday September 19 on the Osagyefo Fight Night when they displayed great boxing at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
According to the experienced coach, Team Allotey is on track and their goal and target is to fight for the world title.
He was supported at Ringside by Elvis Robertson from Akotoku Academy and Vincent Akai Nettey from Attoh Quarshie Boxing Club.
The other assistants from Wisdom Boxing Gym, Ebenezer Adjei, were all present playing different roles.
In his post-match interview, Theophilus Allotey said the fight against Facundo David Garcia of Argentina was not difficult because he had prepared very well and studied him.
He said after taking the early rounds from one to 9, Garcia came in with an attack and wanted a knockout in the championship rounds from 10 to 12, but we had a strategy and we were able to dominate and display for the fans.
He assured Ghanaians that he will bring home the world title because he already feels like a world champion and wants to be a multi titles holder, an undisputed champion.
Allotey. 15-0-0 is currently the face of Ghana Boxing. He has been disciplined and given good accounts, no wonder he has a contract with Legacy Rise Sports Promotions and with their links and connections, Ghanaians should expect a world title any moment.
Allotey has shown that he can do it.
Obra Sports Promotions deserve commendation for putting up a good show. Security was on point, and boxers on the bill also performed.

The world should watch out for the new sensation from Ghana, Theophilus Nii Kpakpo Allotey aka ‘Theo Lopez’.
The Ga Mashie-born is following tradition and hopefully the dream will come true.
