Ghana Taekwondo Federation President Fred Otu appreciates delegates and media

Mr. Frederick Lartey Otu, the three-time elected President of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation, has thanked all stakeholders, especially delegates and the media, who supported him before and during the Elective Congress.

“Dear Hon. Delegates, Medaase. Thank you for making the right choice,” He said.

Mr. Frederick Lartey Otu, the re-elected President of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation and his team, thanked all those who came from far and near to vote, support, and have confidence in him during the just-ended GTF elections.

“Your decision is a vote for the growth, discipline, and future of Taekwondo in Ghana.

“To my former Vice President and contestant for the President position, I want to say ayekoo. It is not easy. Not everyone has the confidence to step forward and say, ‘I want to contest for President.’ He has done well as a former Vice President, and our democracy will embrace that. Going forward, we will work together as a team,” he expressed.

“To the media, I want to urge you to report exactly what happened. Sometimes you go overboard. We are pleading with you. This is a family of integrity. Report our activities accurately and in line with our activities. Don’t exaggerate for us, and don’t hit below the belt,” he added.

Meanwhile, Team Otu sent a message thanking everyone who voted.

“We do not take your trust for granted. Together, we will work to build stronger athletes, stronger clubs, and a stronger federation. The work continues. Let’s move forward together. With appreciation”
