Tears rolled down the cheeks of Razak Simpson, who captained Nations Football Club in a season that got them going into the wilderness of Ghana Football and at the same time took them to represent Ghana at the CAF Confederation Cup.
He scored and celebrated his side’s dramatic penalty-shootout victory over Dreams Football Club to grab the 2026 MTN FA Cup.
The Black Stars defensive midfielder featured for the nation against Mexico and is even on standby to be called to represent at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
It was an emotional period as his feelings got mixed up at the Legon Stadium after Nations FC won the MTN FA Cup.
After a 1-1 draw game, the winner was decided on penalties, where Nations triumphed with a 5-4 score.
This is the first major trophy won by Razak Simpson, and he was joined by fans, family, and friends to celebrate.
He graduated from AshGold to Liberty Professionals and WAFA before joining Nations FC.
His dream is to play at the World Cup.
